Wolf Moon Nets

Wolf Moon Trout Nets are handcrafted in the USA by Bill and Donna Kallner. We believe there's room in the hearts and hands of trout fishermen for nets pretty enough to hang in the living room but tough enough to be used for years and then handed down to the next generation. While their elegant usefulness honors fishing traditions, our nets are designed to meet the practical needs of fishermen today, tomorrow and into the future.

Our careful wood selection and traditional craftsmanship let us build nets that are light and balanced as well as strong. Most of our models have single-strip bows. Our larger steelhead and drift boat net models have extra-strength laminated bows. Handles are custom fit to the bows, and many handles have decorative inlays to contrast with the figured handles. Our nets are lovingly finished for lasting durability.

Most of our nets feature soft, shallow, knotless nylon mesh sacks that are gentle to fish. Many models are offered with sacks in two different depths. The Drifter, our boat model, is available with a deep rubber sack or with a 20" soft knotless nylon mesh sack. And starting in 2005, several models of our wading-style nets are available with rubber sacks.
