  • The Riser is for those tyers that would like to adjust the height of their vise using either a pedestal base or the PEAK clamp.
  • The all brass body allows the adjustment you need when the table or chair height does not match your needs.
  • A brass tipped set screw, using the same 1/8" allen wrench used on the PEAK pedestal base and Clamp, is used to securely clamp any standard 3/8" riser while the lower portion can be clamped in your standard 3/8" hole in a pedestal base.
  • This is a great accessory when you do not get to choose the table height at your hotel or on river tying site.

  • The clamp will allow you to attach your PEAK Rotary Vise or any other vise with a standard 3/8" diameter riser to your tying bench.
  • This clamp works on table tops from 11/16" up to 2-1/4" thick.
  • The lower jaw can be removed, flipped over and reassembled if you table top is very thin.
  • Our nice wide 1-1/2" format will give your vise a sturdy mount on the road or at home.

  • The standard black nylon screws of the PEAK Rotary Vise can be replaced using the brass screw upgrade kit.
  • The 1/4-20 thumb screw used to set the tension on the rotary motion has a nylon tip so that the stainless steel rotary shaft is not scarred.
  • The kit includes two 8-32 thumb screws for the bobbin assembly. Older model vises with round bobbin components will need the longer thumb screw but the new molded components will not.

  • This jaw has been designed to hold tiny midge hooks while allowing free access to the hook.
  • Midge jaws are for hook sizes #16 and smaller.
  • The picture at the left is a midge on a #22 hook as a reference. ***Please note that PEAK ecently upgraded their manufacturing process and now all jaws are black oxide coated to reduce the chances of surface rust. The lower photo shows the jaws with the new coating.

  • This rock steady pedestal base will NOT tip or move no matter how big the fly.
  • A pocket with rounded corners allows easy retrieval of hooks, beads, supplies without getting them stuck.
  • A brass tipped set screw and Allen wrench will allow any standard 3/8" vice riser to become pedestal mounted.

  • The bobbin rest assembly can be added to any 3/8" diameter, standard, vise riser.
  • It consists of a cross bar mount, stainless steel rest, mountain shaped thread rest, and adjustment bolt.
  • Distance of the bobbin to the fly can be set with the black thumb screw.

  • The tool has a stainless steel needle or bodkin tip on one end, covered with a rigid black plastic safety cap when not in use, and a nylon brush tip on the other end.
  • The hex brass body keeps the tool from rolling off of the table when not in use.
  • Dubbing can easily be brushed out with the nylon bristles without cutting threads.
  • The dubbing tool has a brush diameter of .170" diameter.
