Thomas & Thomas 40th Anniversary Rods

The theme of this series is inspired by the 40th anniversary stone, the ruby. In keeping with this, the rod shaft is a deep, translucent ruby red. It is complimented by red agate stripping guides and deep red guide wraps, with silver accents. The aesthetics of our series is in kind with our bamboo rods; nickel silver reel seats, coupled with highly figured and richly varnished walnut reel-seat spacers. Each rod comes with an extra tip and packed in a hand crafted leather case. To protect our Anniversary Collector’s Rods we’ve chosen the finest hard leather cases available, hand-made by Arne Mason. Arne’s leather is the finest grade A English Bridle tanned in the USA. Each case interior is hot-stuffed with natural oils and the surface is waxed, making it the traditional choice for outdoor use.
