It's been a consistent producer for the past 4 seasons for skippies, bones, albies, and bass and blues. The Flashfibre Mushy is potentially my personal favorite of all the flies I offer. It’s easy to cast, never fouls and tends to seduce big bass & blues as well as a variety of tuna species. Tied like the regular Mushmouth, but with Flash & Slinky (Kinkyfibre) material. I prefer it in the spring when herring are around, but quite a few guides use them all summer into the fall with great success. The pale colors are also good imitations of baby bonefish, a favorite prey of big ‘cudas and sharks.
