From Dave: These little flatfish are spun up with coyote tail guard hairs and grizzly hen back feathers (dyed tan) and are dead ringers for one of the striped bass’ favorite little delicacies. Also a good bonefish / permit fly.

From Dave: The most prevalent baitfish in our nearshore waters the past few summers and falls have definitely been the immature menhaden or bunker. This ended up being murderous on all species (particularly bluefin & albies) when fish rushed through thick schools of peanut bunker.
