This rod was designed in response to the popular 'Skagit Specialist'. Meant to be a lighter version of the Skagit, this is a great all around rod. While designed to cast the popular Pacific Northwest Shooting heads called Skagit lines, you will find this rod holds it own with any line you put on it. A true 8 weight, you will find this rod not too much for the summer and yet right at home in the middle of winter casting into cold heavy flows.

The big brother of the North Fork. The first production rod designed specifically for the Skagit style of casting.
