G. Loomis Reels - Eastfork

The EASTFORK Series is our mid-level range of fly reels, but they are anything but mid-level in performance. These stylish bronze, large arbor reels, with classic wooden handle, were designed to match up with our EASTFORK fly rods, but anglers have found them desirable in form as well as function on any lightweight, high performance fly rod. These reels are all about performance! They're light, strong and trouble-free. When necessary, a push of a button removes the spool and switching the reel from right to left-hand retrieve is quick and easy. Just remove the small, black O-ring keeper on the spindle, remove the "one-way" bearing clutch, turn it over and re-assemble. It's as simple as that! These reels are beautiful to look at and a pleasure with which to fish. They are available in four sizes... 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 & 9-10.

It has a lot of room for backing which is important for saltwater species like stripers, cobia, small tarpon and salmon.
