Skagit casting requires that the head length of the line is 3 to 3.5 times the length of the rod. Add a Skagit cheater to RIOs Skagit line or Skagit head to maintain this ratio.
Sagit Cheaters are short extension sections to add to Skagit lines to help maintain a comfortable casting stroke. These sections go between the front of the Skagit line and the required tip. Available in two formats:
1) A pack of four sections; a 2 ½ ft, a 5 ft and a 7 ½ ft floating section and a 5 ft intermediate section
2) A single 5 ft floating cheater
Two each 5' and 10' Floating and Intermediate Tips per package
