In special numbered editions, the Mitey Mite is made to the exact taper specifications of the original fly rod, first sold in Orvis catalogs more than thirty years ago. Plus, its hardware is upgraded with a smartly-blued and hand-engraved nickel-silver sliding reel seat band embellishes the Wes Jordan-model fly rods. Just 5 feet long, this 5-weight bamboo fly rod weighs in at a mere 2.2 ounces. But, it possesses the same absolutely amazing crisp power as the original. The Special Edition Mitey Mite Bamboo Fly Rod comes in its own special Wes Jordan-style tube with saddle-stitched russet leather and heavy-gauge aluminum protective liner.
