The Floating Head series of flies are designed to be fished around structure, over humps, and rocks. They tend to float up maintaining positive buoyancy and dive when stripped, a very tantalizing action. Predators love to ambush these flies with a very aggressive grab.
~ Floating Head Eel is designed to be fished on a sinking or sink-tip fly line and should be fished from dusk till dawn.
~ Floating Head Bunker Grey is designed to be fished on a sinking or sink-tip fly line. This fly will also push water just under the surface on an intermediate line.
~ Floating Head Bunker Olive is designed the same way as the Grey bunker, but works best on cloudy days or in low light conditions.
~ E-Z Squid is a great fly at night and any time there are small squid around. They are tied in white, but color can be added with permanent marker.
~ E-Z Sand Eel is designed for an intermediate line over sandy flats with grass patches. Short, steady strips produce the best results.
~ Albie Flat Top is designed to be an all-purpose small baitfish imitation. Great to use when Albies are feeding on small prey. Its easy to cast and can be put right in the wheel house at a moments notice.
~ E-Z Shrimp imitates the small shrimp that abundant in estuaries as well as along jetties and muscle beds. These are the places you want to dead drift this fly with a floating or intermediate line.
