Scientific Anglers Frequency Lines

Tech Specs:
• Frequency lines are built utilizing the same core and PVC coating technology as the Mastery Series smooth lines
• This results in lines with the same slickness and durability as the Mastery Series smooth lines
• Built using our proprietary AST slickness technology
• Each line features a front welded loop
• Offered in three floating (Boost, Trout, Magnum) and three sinking (Sink Tip, Full Sink, Intermediate) tapers

The idea behind the Frequency series is a simple one: three floating tapers, three sinking tapers, and limitless fishing options. We kept the choices easy and the prices reasonable. Why should high-performing fly lines cost so much? The short answer is that they don’t have to. The only question that remains is this: What’s Your Frequency?

sci_anglers_15_frequency_boost Scientific Anglers Frequency Boost
$49.95
Half-Size Heavy Floater
~ FLOAT
An excellent general-purpose line for freshwater situations, the Boost is built a half-size heavy and delivers a more powerful cast than the Trout taper. Designed for larger, heavier flies, the Boost offers superb performance in the wind and turns over giant hoppers, nymph rigs, and jointed streamers with ease.

$49.95
All-Around Floating Trout Line
FLOAT
This versatile taper excels with smaller flies and delicate presentations. Built with a mid-length head, the Trout taper is perfect for spring creeks, mid-day mayfly hatches, or even down-and-dirty nymph rigs. Designed for and tested in nearly every imaginable trout fishing situation.

sci_anglers_15_frequency_magnum Scientific Anglers Frequency Magnum
$49.95
Designed for Big Flies
FLOAT
This short, aggressive taper is designed for turning over the biggest and baddest of flies. An excellent streamer line, the Magnum is as versatile as it is powerful. One day it's tossing crabs for redfish; the next, it’s turning over poppers for bass. Built a half-size heavy, the Magnum suits fast-action rods very well.

sci_anglers_15_frequency_sinktip Scientific Anglers Frequency Sink Tip
$49.95
Sinking-Tip Line for Fresh or Salt Water
~ Sinking head with floating belly and running line
The fast-sinking 10-foot tip sinks flies through the water column, while the mid-length head design enhances control and castability. Best used in moving water, the Sink Tip is ideal for streamers and wet flies for trout, steelhead, and the ever-aggressive smallmouth bass, among others.

sci_anglers_15_frequency_int Scientific Anglers Frequency Intermediate
$49.95
All-Purpose Sinking Lines
Full Sink Intermediate
With a 1.25 inch-per-second sink rate, the Frequency Intermediate is an effective line for fishing flies just under the surface. It’s ideal for use with streamers and wet flies in both stillwater and stream environments. The thin overall diameter cuts through the wind on the casts, while the mid-length head enhances control and castability.

sci_anglers_15_frequency_fullsink Scientific Anglers Frequency Full Sink Type3
$49.95
All-Purpose Sinking Lines
Full Sink Type III (2.5-4ips)
Available in two sink rates (2.5-4.0 ips and 3.0-5.0 ips), the Frequency Full Sink is an effective line for getting flies down in the water column. Ideal for streamers and wet flies, in both stream and stillwater situations, the mid-length head enhances line control and castability.
